Monsoon Tours will be visiting the West Highland Heritage Railway for their Spirit of the Welsh Highland event in Porthmadog on Sunday, 3rd May 2009.
The main attraction will be a 'Baldwin' in steam for the first time in 73 years, along with other locomotives. We will ride on the train, and a guided tour of the shed and workshops will be provided.
The coach will depart from Oliver Hill, New Road Side, Horsforth at 8.30 a.m. and picking up at Ainley Top (M62 junction), in the bus layby on the exit road A643 at the back of the hotel at 9.10 a.m.
The cost per person is anticipated to be in the region of £21 per head for coach and visit, payable on the coach. There will be a stop for dinner during the run home, details will be released later. Come prepared for all forms of Welsh weather. All members and friends welcome.
